Key features

Automated from loadport to report

Wafer handling, inspection, data and safety — engineered for production fabs.

Loadports handling FOUP, FOSB and open cassettes
01

EFEM system & smart loadport

  • The advanced loadport opens and closes FOUP lids and can be fitted with barcode scanners and RFID readers.
  • An efficient recognition system quickly and accurately identifies cassette types — FOUP, FOSB and open cassette.
02

Wafer mapping & pre-alignment

  • A high-precision optical detection system scans the cassette layer by layer, recording each wafer's position and flagging tilted or misaligned wafers with alarms — 100% accuracy.
  • Non-contact optical location of the wafer centre and notch / flat.
  • Fully automated pre-alignment positions the target accurately and fast, for more efficient operation and more precise data collection.
  • Suitable for wafer materials including Si, SiC, EMC and glass.

Slot mapping

Flags tilted or misaligned wafers with alarms.

Notch / flat

0°, 90°, 180° and 270° orientation settings.

Centering

Non-contact optical centre location.

Integrated macro / micro inspection

A fully automated wafer-handling system makes macro and micro inspection efficient. The AWL optical system captures fine micro detail in high definition, while a versatile macro module and an easy remote-control joystick enable multi-angle, full-field macro inspection — an efficient tool for wafer defect analysis.

Reliability & data communication

  • Supports the SECS/GEM standard protocol — a bridge to customer MES and host systems for work-order issuance, material accounting, process recording and remote control.
  • A friendly HMI makes it easy to operate and monitor wafer workstations in real time.
  • A high-precision wafer OCR reader tracks each wafer's unique ID across the whole process, with data extraction and editing by ID.
  • UPS keeps the IPC running for 15 minutes during a power outage — enough time to save data.
